Mount Nebo

Mt. Nebo is mentioned in the Bible where Moses was granted a view of the promised land before his death. Moses then died there but his burial place is still unknown. A memorial in the form of the stone maker perpetuating Moses’s grave is located on this mount.

A Christological symbol, the Brazin serpent sculpture stands atop Mt. Nebo, it symbolizes the bronze serpent created by Moses in the wilderness. (Numbers 21, 5-9)

Madaba Church

First place that we travel from Amman airport is to Jordan, Jordan is the biblical land. Madaba Church is the church which has an entire picture of the holy land made with millions of Mosaic stones.

Wedding Church

Cana in Galilee is celebrated as the place of Jesus’s first miracle of turning water into wine. Over here a church building has been constructed to symbolize the wedding at Cana. The name of the Church is called ‘Wedding Church’.

Over here Evg.T.Stephen does marriage renewals for the couples willing and special prayers are offered for young people who are awaiting marriage.

Baptismal Site of Jesus Christ

Baptism for those who are willing in the group will be given here by an ordained Pastor along with Evg. T. Stephen.

Yardenit is a baptismal site located along the Jordon River. The spiritual beauty of this site is those waters in which Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist

Sea of Galilee

In the New Testament, much of the ministry of Jesus occurs on the shores of the sea of Galilee. It is here, where Jesus recruited four of His disciples Simon, Andrew, John and James. Many of His miracles are also set to have occurred here, such as walking on the water, calming the storm, the miraculous catch of fishes, feeding of 5000 people.

In this trip, we will be hiring a boat and will be sailing in the sea of Galilee. On board, we will have a worship service and we will be hosting the Indian flag, there will be an interactive session too.

Church Of Annunciation

Dead Sea

The Dead Sea constitutes an enormous salt reserve. The Dead Sea figures in biblical accounts dating to the time of Abraham (first of the Hebrew patriarchs) and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah (the two cities along the lake, according to the Hebrew Bible, that were destroyed by fire from heaven because of their wickedness)

On this site, you will be given time to swim in the dead sea

The Great Pyramid of Giza

The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest Egyptian pyramid. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

River Nile

The Nile is the river where the water was turned into blood when Moses lifted up his staff and struck the water. It was in the Nile river that baby Moses was placed in a basket by his mother.

Mount of Beatitudes

The Mount of Beatitudes is believed to be the site of Jesus’s most famous discourse the sermon on the mount. To commemorate this event an eight-sided church that represents the beatitudes has been built with white and black mosaic which represents the sermon that is to bring people living in the dark and sinful life to light. This is also the place where Jesus met His apostles after his resurrection and commissioned them to go into the entire world and preach the good news to everyone.

Pater Noster church

Pater Noster means ‘Our Father’, the Lord’s prayer words in Latin. At the Church of Pater Noster on the Mount of Olives, Christians recall Christ’s teaching of the Lord’s Prayer to His disciples. On the walls around the church and its vaulted cloister, translations of the Lord’s Prayer in 140 languages are inscribed on colourful ceramic plaques. Jesus taught the Lord’s Prayer in the cave that forms the grotto under the church.

Notable places

It is here where the prophet Elijah hid in the cave at the slopes. The main Church inside the monastery is said to contain the cave of Prophet Elijah

This is a tourist attraction which will be viewed from Mt. Carmel

It is believed that this is the site where John the Baptist was born

The Church of the Nativity is one of the oldest working churches in existence today. This place marks the birth of Christ.

The tomb of Lazarus is identified as the Biblical village of Bethany. This tomb is the site of the miracle recorded in the gospel of John in which Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead.

Mount Sinai is the mountain at which the ten commandments were given to Moses by God.

Saint Catherine’s encompasses two biblical sites, the well of Moses and the burning bushes.
